The Continuous Improvement Manager will: + Responsible to receive, ship, and service materials throughout the Plant according to SFC policies and guidelines. + Responsible for wrapping rolls on the wrapping machine + Responsible for palletizing rolls based on customer guidelines + Responsible for keeping track of packaging supplies and letting the supervisor know when such supplies need re-ordering + Supplying the inspection lines with cores + Assist with “ End of Month Inventories” + Develops and maintains accurate and punctual methods in receiving and shipping products, supplies and raw materials. + Performs actions in a safe and efficient manner. + Performs needed housekeeping and organization of assigned work area (i.e. critical function of this position). + Performs required accurate / precise inventories as directed by Supervisor. + Supports and implements SFC policies, work instructions and procedures. + Perform all other duties as directed by Purchasing Manager. Other: + Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules + Must be able to work extended hours when required + All other duties as assigned Qualifications: + Forklift experience. + Minimum of 5 years manufacturing desired, but not required. + Attention to detail. + Good math and reading skills. + Ability to follow directions and specifications. + Ability to lift 50-lbs regularly. + Must be available to work extended hours when required If you are interested in being part of a world class business here in North Augusta then we would love to hear from you.
