**Job Title: Material Handler - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating forklifts and handling materials in a warehouse or production environment. This role involves supplying finishing equipment with products, removing finished products, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. **Responsibilities** + Supply finishing equipment with products from the presses + Remove finished products from the end of the finishing equipment and prepare them for distribution + Load and unload products from trucks + Understand and follow proper safety procedures regarding the operation of forklifts + Remove bale waste bins and assist in the bailer rooms + Assist other material handlers as needed + Scan products into and out of inventory **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation experience + 2+ years of Material Handler experience + Experience in packaging and production **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months of previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience + Good mechanical aptitude + Willingness to learn and adapt **Why Work Here?** We offer a vibrant work environment with fresh fruit in the break room every two weeks, free popcorn, tea, and coffee. The shift is a 3-4 rotating shift, alternating between the front half and back half of the week every six months. The finishing day shift pays $18, the finishing night shift pays $19, the press day shift pays $19, and the press night shift pays $20. The dress code is casual and safety gear is provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
