Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:15 pm to 11:15 pm. The rate for this position is $21.84 per hour plus a $.50/hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations. 

What you’ll do:

•    Successfully operate rigging equipment to include nylon straps, wire braided straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment and spreader bars. 
•    Successfully operate a fork truck, crane, and combi lift 
•    Wear fall protection body harness and lanyard  
 

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:  
•    High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required 
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship 
•    No relocation is offered for this position. Only applicants located within 50 miles of Highland, IL will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation   
 

Preferred Qualifications:  
•    Manufacturing experience 
•    Forklift operating experience 
•    Overhead crane operating experience
