AS A MATERIAL HANDLER, YOU WILL:
Load and/or unload trucks Put away incoming freight Replenish orders as necessary to support operation Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments Transport finished goods to be shipped Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment Maintain safe actions on and off equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson, federal, state, and local provisions Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements Assist and train new hires Other duties as assigned FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: Should be hard-working and capable of working independently Must have successfully completed and passed Emerson’s training on all required equipment which included but is not limited to; forklift, cherry picker, and tri-loader Must be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet wearing fall protection gear Must follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and walk/stand/work on concrete for 8+ hours Ability to use the Hand (RF) scanner effectively and efficientlyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
JDE knowledge High school diploma or equivalent experience
