This position reports to
Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesPick materials from storage locations per pick list from production work ordersManage corrugate removal and other materials from work areas. Dispose or recycle in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP).Replenish rubber for press operation.Maintain recycle area.Transport material to outside storage area.Empty waste containers in accordance with standard policy.Replenish rubber to presses.Remove previous job’s work order components, transport to storage area, and transact the return in the system.Utilize software (KBM) to search for material in system.Count material needed and transact in the system.Housekeeping of work areas, as directed.Participate in continuous improvement activities.Assist internal departments to retrieve raw materials.Maintain professional work behaviour including approachability, patience, and mutual respect.All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications for the roleHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentAt least 1- 2 years of experience in a warehouse environmentForklift proficient. Previous certification, preferredAbility to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 40 poundsAbility to perform push and pull functionsCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
