Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Label, palletize, weigh and ship products to maintain inventory in the warehouse and to pull/fill orders for shipments to customers accurately and on time Provide material handling services for production plant. Determine products and location in order to count and pull the correct amount of product to accurately fill orders Quickly read and understand shop orders and ascertain part numbers and quantities needed per each package Accurately package and label each carton/package Retrieve/pull product from bins or shelves either manually or using various types of mechanized material handling equipment Perform minimal preventive maintenance activities Background & SkillsRequired (Basic) Qualifications
High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment for warehouse facility Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Must be local-no relocation offered Ability to operate a forklift safely is required. Safety record will be considered when selecting employees for Material Handler positions. Attendance, rarely absent or late, pre-schedules and pre-approves absencesSafety: Follows safety & housekeeping standards and procedures, uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), looks after the safety of others. Repetitive bending and lifting up to 40 pounds Must be able to work well as a team member Forklift experience - Stand-up/Sit-down forklift preferred Ability to use banding tooling for securing material pallets prior to storage or shipping Employee Benefits
