General Responsibilities Responsible for transporting raw materials (rolls), work in process(WIP) and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production, load and unload rolls from transport trucks * Operate a pallet jack/hand truck about 80% of the time as you move work in progress loads from one department to another * Move and stage finished loads from sheeting to their space in the plant * Work with Printing on schedule and prepare loads for them to run * Will sometimes load a stack of paper into aerator to prep for the printing presses * Move and stage finished loads from printing to their space in the plant * This role will drive a forktruck sometimes to move some product * Provide a clean/safe working environment to themselves and employees in their work area. * Keep department in specs within all 5S requirements.* Other duties as assigned What you need to succeed: * Ability to read general information or short instructions such as lists, notes, or labels * Ability to write in order to accomplish such tasks as completing forms or communicating simple instructions * Ability to perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division * Ability to carry out tasks which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order * Ability to complete tasks as assigned by others with occasional directions * Ability to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures following established patterns Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
