Our client is currently seeking a Material Handler to join their team in Round Rock, TX. This position plays a key role in the daily operations of the warehouse and production areas by handling, storing, and distributing materials and components accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics or hardware manufacturing, along with a strong understanding of inventory systems and material handling protocols.

The Day-to-Day:

Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments of electronic parts and hardwareInspect incoming materials for damage or defects and promptly report any discrepanciesStore inventory in designated system locations using the company's ERP systemPick and deliver raw materials and components to the production and shipping departmentsAssist with inventory control and cycle counts; make adjustments as necessaryPackage and label computer hardware for shipment in accordance with company standardsOperate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and cartsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse or stockroomAdhere to ISO, ESD, and safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience in material handling, preferably in electronics or hardware manufacturingBasic understanding of ERP systems and inventory trackingFamiliarity with computer hardware components is highly desirableAbility to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.Strong organizational and time management skillsAble to work both independently and collaboratively in a team settingExcellent attention to detail and accuracy

Pay Rate:

$18.50 to $19.00 /hr
