Our client is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join their team in Leominster, Massachusetts. This full-time role plays a critical part in maintaining the flow of materials throughout the production floor. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing setting and be comfortable operating forklifts and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

The Day-to-Day:

Read Shop Orders and Manufacturing Specifications to determine machine setup, materials needed, and production quantities.Move raw materials from the warehouse to designated machines based on picklists.Transport Work In Process (WIP) materials between production stages and designated holding areas.Verify shop paperwork matches physical products to ensure proper workflow.Weigh and record materials being returned to the warehouse before storage.Maintain accurate records on picklists.Empty trash and move scrap containers to designated areas.Load tape racks (up to 100 lbs max) and color chips in hoppers.Retrieve and relocate empty skids, stacking no more than 7 high.Assist operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or forklift (up to 50 lbs).Perform daily maintenance checks on the forklift.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Forklift experience required.Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Strong communication and basic math skills.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 to $22.00/hr
