Material Handler Job Number: 359356 Category: Other Description: Job Title: Materials Handler Location: Torrence, CA Pay up to $23.66 DOE Zip Code: 90277 Duration: 2 months Keyword's: #Materials Handler Start Date: Immediate Shift: 1st shift Job Description: * Sort, counts and checks raw materials, finished and semi-finished parts. * Handles raw materials in compliance with internal Electrostatic Discharge Policies and Procedures * Issues material to WO/MO and follows Bill of Material and Work Order Routing * Responsible for inventory accuracy at all levels. Maintains inventory on hand and stockroom data files * Performs required cycle counts. Audits stocking locations to ensure system transaction accuracy. Performs physical inventories as required. * Understanding of aerospace components * Understands and can research and reconcile Inventory * Stores electronic components properly and has an understanding of MSD components * Validates previous transactions for discrepancies and ensures internal specifications are met and traceability requirements are 100% accurate * Ensures Kit preparation are in compliance of Standards and internal documentation * Regular attendance is required. * May occasionally be required to work overtime.
