As a Material Handler, you will maintain inventory parts, order material from vendors and issue parts and tools to maintenance personnel. Caregivers in this position are responsible for maintaining proper records of material used and forwarding those to the finance department for cost allocation. Your primary duties will include: 

• Monitoring the flow of traffic in dock areas,  

• Prioritizing deliveries and verifying shipment accuracy.  

• Checking and documenting damaged goods in the system.  

• Inspecting and counting freight. 

• Preparing and packing goods and supplies for distribution and documenting discrepancies.  


Our ideal future caregiver is someone who: 

• Has one to two years of materials management experience. 

• Has basic computer skills.  

• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and decisive judgment.  

• Thrives in a team environment. 

• Has strong organization and critical thinking skills.   


A caregiver in this position will work Wednesday-Sunday 6:00 am-2:30 pm.​

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Must meet all Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements. 

May require appropriate Valid Driver's License (VDL) to drive box truck. 

 
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

One to two years materials management experience. 

High School Diploma or GED 

Can drive up to 20-foot box truck for certain locations may be required.

Physical Requirements:

Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

Requires frequent sitting, standing and walking to various locations to attend meetings.

Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.

Must have own transportation due to travel to multiple sites.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
