**NOW HIRING MATERIAL HANDLER’S** Starting pay $19.00, Peoria, Illinois We are seeking a skilled material handler to join our Peoria team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background operating machines such as sit-down forklifts, hoist, and overhead cranes to prep and stage raw materials for shipping and receiving. Securely and safely build custom wood boxing/packaging for specialty parts varying in size/weight/and cost. You may also be asked to help with other task within the warehouse as needed. **Job Description:** · Operate Sit-down, stand-up, and cherry-picking equipment for loading and unloading shipments. · Must be comfortable with heights. · Utilize hoists and overhead cranes to prep material. · Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32nd. · Work both indoors and outdoors as necessary. · Experience using screws/drills/saws/nail guns to assemble wood products. · Securely and safely build custom boxing/packaging for specialty parts varying in size/weight. _Skills and Qualifications:_ **Must Haves:** + Experience operating pallet jacks, sit-down, stand up and cherry picker forklifts. + Skilled in shipping/receiving procedures. + Previous woodworking experience. + Excellent reputation of attendance. + Experience with saws/drills. **Nice to Haves:** · Previous general labor experience. · Experience using pallet jacks, and sit-down forklift. · 1+ year equipment operating. · Critical thinking skills. **Work Environment:** · Non-temperature-controlled warehouse. · Expect to work outside in all elements. · 1 st shift hours Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
