**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and proactive Material Handler to join our team. This role involves addressing quality issues, handling heavy lifting, and managing the loading and unloading of steel members. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving and loading steel members on and off paint carts, staging them safely in the craneway by job. The position requires maintaining a clean yard, organizing tasks efficiently, and tracking data and quantities of products. The Material Handler will also assist in other departments as needed, including painting, paint prep, and material handling throughout various areas of the shop. **Responsibilities** + Address quality problems. + Perform heavy lifting, loading, and unloading. + Move and load steel members on and off paint carts. + Stage steel members safely in the craneway by job. + Take instructions and learn quickly on the job. + Maintain a clean yard and organize tasks efficiently. + Track data and quantities of products diligently. + Assist in other departments as needed, including painting, paint prep, material handling, and loading trailers. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of applicable safety procedures. + Ability to demonstrate appropriate computer skills, including e-mail, MS Office applications, and select reporting tools. + Ability to lift 50 pounds. **Shift/Pay** + The work schedule is 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM. + $18hr ( after 90 day review there is a chance for pay growth ) **Why Work Here?** Join a growing location that offers training with pay increases for all machines learned and certified to use.
