Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will work from requisitions, order lists, or stock lists to pull required items. You will use a checklist to ensure kit accuracy, accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to the distribution point or staging area. Additionally, you will process returned items and unscheduled issues, compile and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued, and prepare requests for the procurement of material. You will also be responsible for lifting heavy items and may operate a pallet jack or forklift, examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines, take inventory of stored items through cycle counting, and audit kits for accuracy as needed. **Responsibilities** + Pull required items from requisitions, order lists, or stock lists. + Use a checklist to ensure kit accuracy. + Accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to distribution points or staging areas. + Process returned items and unscheduled issues. + Compile and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued. + Prepare requests for procurement of material. + Lift heavy items and may operate a pallet jack or forklift. + Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. + Take inventory of stored items through cycle counting. + Audit kits for accuracy. **Essential Skills** + Active Driver's License. + Experience with various forklifts. + Warehouse and inventory control experience. + Cycle counting experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Picking and packing experience. + Receiving and processing experience. + Proficiency with Windows OS and computer skills. + Experience with Excel. + Experience using RF guns and RF scan guns. + Material handling and inventory control skills. + Order picking experience. + General labor and production experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued. The role involves physical activity, including lifting heavy items and operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
