You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

What you need to know about this position

Performs regular equipment inspectionsSupplies work center with appropriate materials and candyConducts returns at the end of the production orderEnters received candy and material into SAPMoves defective candy from work center and completes appropriate paperworkEnters received candy and material into SAPPerforms cycle counts and enters verified counts into SAPCollects recycled sugar and transports it to receiving area, weighs and wraps pallet, records weight on the Candy and Sugar Weight template and loads onto trailer to be shipped to EwenReplaces full farmer TOTES/DYNOS with empty ones, weighs and records full TOTES/DYNOS weight on the Candy and Sugar Weight templateUnderstand, participate and support all safety programs, policies and initiatives within the manufacturing locationKnowledge and understanding of SOP’s and work instructionsUnderstands and follows Ewen Manufacturing food safety systems and proceduresResponsible for ensuring all packaged product produced meets all GMP and food safety requirementsAll other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education / Certifications:

High School DiplomaUpdated Forklift certification ( Experience in stand up counter balance forklifts preferred)

 

Job specific requirements:

Experience in warehouse setting required.Relevant experience in forklifting driving.Experience using Excel and SAP databases required.InventoryValid Forklift License is required.
