**Shift: 1st and 2nd available**
**Location: Wilton, CT**
**Job Description:**
The Material Handler will be responsible for the timely delivery of cleaned and packaged material for safe outbound shipment. This position will also involve interaction with other departments such as Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Support.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Clean and package material per specification for safe shipment.
+ Monitor for and report damaged/defective materials (or questionable) to department Supervisor.
+ Participate in area Job Hazard Analysis.
+ Make pick-ups and deliveries within the company campus.
+ Perform data entry and record retention.
+ Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
+ Adhere to all safety regulations and make recommendations.
+ Lift up to 35 lbs.
**Essential Skills:**
+ Experience in warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving, Microsoft Excel, and data entry.
+ Familiarity with SAP and inventory control.
+ Proficiency in using a pallet jack.
+ Strong organizational skills and detailed record keeping.
+ Ability to pay close attention to detail, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage changing priorities.
+ Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ General computer proficiencies.
+ Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word is a plus.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels within the organization and outside.
+ Ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
+ Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
+ Result-driven with ownership and accountability.
+ Ability to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
+ Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
+ Demonstrate open, clear, concise, and professional communication.
+ Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with managers, co-workers, and customers.
+ Ability to work according to a strict set of procedures within provided timelines.
