Night shift position, 7pm - 7am (D shift)
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Supplies forming lines with necessary materials. Packages and warehouses product in accordance with customer specifications and/or written instructions. Material handlers report directly to the Production Supervisor and report indirectly to the Warehouse/ Logistics Supervisor.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supplies forming lines with raw material and packaging suppliesRemoves product from forming lines and printersLoads pallet onto empty tipperCompletes inventory tags correctly and legiblyWarehouses product in accordance with requirementsConducts all duties in accordance with plant safety requirementsMaintains effective communications between shiftsResponsible for food safetyWorks 12-hour shifts standing on concreteMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basisGo up steps periodically throughout the dayAble to work in a non-temperature controlled environmentPerforms other duties required by the QMS, as assignedEDUCATION: Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Required: Successful completion of all training modules for Material Handler position.
SKILLS: Required: Current fork truck certification. Successful completion of Operator Assistant benchmarks. Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training made when needed.
