Made Possible.** **Job Description: Press Feeder/Material Handler** + Adjusts and prepares the printing press to run. **Essential Functions:** + Assists Press Operator in the operation of the printing press. + Performs set up for feed system. + Assists second Press Operator to change plates and blankets. + Ensures all press supplies are available. + Assists with make ready. + Assists in washing plates, blankets, rollers, and ink fountains where required. + Performs preventative maintenance on equipment. + General clean up. + Follows all company policies and procedures. + Attends and participates in ongoing training. + Not limited to and including other duties as assigned. **Education and Experience Required:** + Grade 12 or acceptable experience. + On-the-job training required and/or related experience. **Skills and Physical Requirement:** + Employees must be both familiar and able to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act). + Respects individuals, the organization, authority, the community and the team. + Can work in teams. + Autonomous. + Ability to adapt. + Ability to take initiative. + Good communication skills. + Good physical condition and capable of heavy lifting.
