Job Description
Under general supervision, you will be responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies, along with maintaining records of materials/inventory.
ResponsibilitiesReceive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and supplies.Maintain accurate records of materials and inventory.Adhere to safety procedures and good housekeeping practices.Follow detailed verbal and written instructions accurately.Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.Participate in cross-training and teamwork activities.Speak up and address any issues related to safety and quality.Work with small component parts and ensure accurate documentation.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.Ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English.Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.Ability to adhere to safety-related issues, including good housekeeping and ergonomics practices.Propensity to speak up when issues occur.Ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment.Teamwork and ability to work in a diverse setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in manufacturing.Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Good visual perception and fine motor skills.Ability to analyze material/inventory issues using independent judgment.Material handling, Forklift, Inventory, Picking, RF scanner, Loading, Pick.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a very clean and well-lit facility. The shift is 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The work involves moving materials and wrapping products for shipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Portage, Michigan
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
