We are seeking a Material Handler to support our service and installation teams by efficiently managing inventory, organizing materials, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and equipment. This role plays a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly by maintaining accurate inventory, preparing shipments, and assisting with warehouse organization.
Material Handler Role & Responsibilities:
+ Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of parts and materials.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
+ Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and job sites as needed.
+ Organize and store materials in designated areas for easy access and efficient retrieval.
+ Prepare orders and stage materials for field technicians and service teams.
+ Assist in the assembly or pre-staging of equipment and parts for installations.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of heavy equipment and materials.
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
+ Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including packaging and labeling outgoing shipments.
+ Support the service team with additional warehouse and logistics tasks as needed.
Material Handler Qualifications:
+ Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role.
+ Skills: Ability to read work orders, packing lists, and technical documentation.
+ Certifications: Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
+ Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in warehouse or outdoor environments.
+ Technology: Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order management.
+ Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with service and installation teams.
