Our client, a leader in home building supplies, is dedicated to enhancing the space where people live and work. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Material Handler to support their smaller distribution center located in Calgary, AB.
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain operations, ensuring that products are accurately received, stored, and shipped to meet customers' needs. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

What you will be doing: Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders Organize and store products in designated locations within the warehouse Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications Ensure accurate and timely shipping of products to customers Operate warehouse equipment, such as an Electric Sit down Forklift Assist with inventory management, including regular cycle counts and inventory audits
What you will need: Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role Forklift certification preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 40 lbs) Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills Reliable transportation required
