Our client, a leader in the trucking industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production of power steering units. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Material Handler **Location:** Wytheville, VA **Pay Range:** $19 per hour **What's the Job?** + Assist in the assembly and handling of commercial steering components. + Utilize pallet jacks to move materials efficiently within the facility. + Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs as required. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. **What's Needed?** + Previous material handling experience in a manufacturing environment. + Willingness to work overtime as needed. + Strong commitment to safety and quality standards which includes wearing steel toed shoes. + Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. + Acceptable background check, physical and drug screen. **What's in it for me?** + Competitive pay at $19 per hour with opportunity for overtime to increase earnings and weekly pay. + Day shift schedule working 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday. + Temp to hire opportunity. + Supportive team environment that values your contributions. + Gain valuable experience in the manufacturing industry.
