**Job Title: Material Handler Forklift** **Job Description** Candidates will be responsible for both material handler responsibilities and operator duties as they progress. The candidate will pelletize materials, load/unload trucks, use a forklift when needed, and downpack chemicals. Chemical handling includes hooking up barrels or end-use containers to piping systems for chemical downpacking for shipment. This role will regularly involve operating forklifts to transport materials. However, this is primarily a chemical operator in training position. **Responsibilities** + Pelletize materials. + Load and unload trucks. + Use a forklift as needed. + Downpack chemicals. + Handle chemicals and connect barrels or end-use containers to piping systems for shipment. + Operate forklifts to transport materials. **Essential Skills** + Experience with chemicals. + Forklift operation experience, specifically with sit-down lifts. + Material handling and inventory management skills. + Manufacturing experience (1-2 years). + Process experience in a manufacturing environment. + MT1 Certification (1 year in Manufacturing). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Chemical processing background or familiarity with manufacturing processes. + Ability to perform fractions, mathematics, heavy computer usage, and conversions. + Mechanical education that is relatable. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a small plant environment with climate control in certain areas.
