Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler Forklift operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, utilizing an RF scan gun, loading and unloading products from trailers, and assisting operators with materials as needed. Additionally, you will inspect inbound and outbound products and utilize the internal shipping system when necessary. You will act as a team lead within the warehouse, overseeing a team of employees without directly managing them. Current 1st and 3rd shift openings.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean, temperature-controlled facility that manufactures bottles and caps for products such as shampoo, conditioner, and mouthwash. We follow GMP guidelines and provide necessary safety gear such as steel-toed boots, ear plugs, and hair nets. The dress code includes long pants (jeans or khakis) and a t-shirt. The schedule is a rotating schedule from 6 pm to 6 am or for 6am to 6pm. 3 days on, 3 days off, then 2 days on and 2 off. Initial training will be conducted on the first shift for one week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, Iowa.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr.
