Job Description

Do you have 2+ years of warehousing experience on a forklift and handling heavy parts? Would you enjoy working with a quickly evolving, exciting, innovative start-up company? Join a team as a Material Handler/Warehouse Associate that serves a purposeful mission with a breakthrough product! The Material Handler will support all coordination of moving equipment, products, boxes, and parts from point A to point B. They will work in alignment with a manufacturing and facilities team, supporting the coordination of incoming equipment and getting established in a new facility. An ideal candidate is someone who has experience problem-solving with a professional and positive attitude. Experience working in a start-up and/or manufacturing environment is a plus.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the movement of equipment, products, boxes, and parts from one location to another.Support the manufacturing and facilities team in the coordination of incoming equipment.Assist in the establishment of operations in a new facility.Solve problems with a professional and positive attitude.Utilize forklift for material handling and heavy lifting tasks.Maintain inventory and packing tasks using basic computer skills.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2+ years of recent experience with forklift operation.Experience in moving, lifting, and rearranging heavy equipment or parts.Basic computer skills.Confident communicator and problem-solver.Ability to work within ambiguity and be adaptable.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient in Microsoft applications.Ability to lift 50+ lbs.Hobbies include working on mechanical projects in spare time.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Shift will likely start out as Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. However, hires must be open to some fluctuation in hours due to the start-up nature of the business. For example, some may be asked to work a split-shift such as 10am-7pm and may need to support Saturday or Sunday work. The work environment includes a climate-controlled assembly shop and corporate headquarters offices. The culture is friendly, driven, and collaborative.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
