The Material Handler is responsible for incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control with primary responsibility for pulling production orders for the manufacturing floor. This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Pall Aerospace Materials department in New Port Richey, FL, and onsite. In this role, you will have the opportunity to + Receive, stock, and distribute inventory for all areas of the manufacturing plant to support achieving and maintaining 95% OTD (On Time Delivery). + Stock materials to the proper bin locations and conduct daily cycle counts. + Prepares documents according to standard operating procedures and creating accurate and timely reports as requested. + Staff the stockroom window + Operate various types of office machines and computers necessary to perform duties. + Work as a member of a cohesive team across shifts, assist with training co-workers, notify Cell Leaders, Quality representative, etc. when issues arise. The essential requirements of the job include: + High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) and minimum of one (1) year of experience within a warehouse environment. + Must be computer savvy/literate, possess intermediary math skills, and be able to issue material to production work orders, print documents. + Stocking parts, pick parts from various locations and heights. Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to lifting 30 pounds on a routine daily basis; sit at a computer for prolonged periods of time up to 8 hours per shift, frequent bending, lifting, sitting, standing, and twisting (90% of the day); ability to climb stairs (up to 2 stories), operate machinery including scissor lift, and pallet jacks. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Exporting controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. + Clerical duties that may utilize various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment. + Planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting.
