Saint-Gobain, a global top employer, is looking for  2 Material Handlers in the Wayne, NJ Plant.

9:30am - 6pm / 10am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday

Scope: Maintain inventory of all assigned product. Pick, pack, and prepare product and necessary documentation for shipment, as specified by SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities:

Unload/receive products, materials, and supplies from trucks according to SOPs, work instructions, and/or direction from the supervisor. Place finished product into inventory or ship to customer according to instructions on sales order paperwork. Perform weekly cycle counts and verify counts when directed by supervisor. Verify counts and proper part numbers and enter into computer system. Maintain first-in, first-out inventory rotation practice. Participate in physical inventory counts, according to SOP’s and as directed by supervisor. Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency, and safety. Generate receipt travelers from computer system and verify accuracy of information. File sales orders, copies of shipping memos, UPS daily log, and bills of lading. Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed. Maintain necessary records as required by SOP’s and work instructions. Visually observe, troubleshoot, and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor, or manager as required. Participate in self-development and training of others. Perform other related duties as required or as directed by supervisor. Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices. Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.
