As our Material Handler, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

Processing and prioritizing material transactions, moving orders, replenishing, receiving, and organizing materials. Proactively logging and escalating potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and operational inefficiencies. Complying with SOPs and work instructions related to job function Reaching performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Cost) Working collaboratively with peers and internal customers Performing daily 5s, cycle counting, and PM of equipment and surrounding areas required.

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is required. Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.  Ability to use MS Office (advanced Excel skills preferred). Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to work sitting down and/or standing up for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, scoop, and reach to perform above duties. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs. Must be able to distinguish colors. Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines. Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action investigations. Previous experience with Oracle The ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment and proprietary software. Prior experience with decision-making and operational leadership (assigning work orders to workstations and monitoring level of work).
