As a material handler we need someone that is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials. Primary Objective: Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area Shift: + 2nd: M-F, 1:30pm-10:00pm Equipment Knowledge: + Sit-Down Forklift + Electric Pallet Jack Responsibilities: + Picking + Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets. + Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS) + Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy + Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas + Putaway + Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received + Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves + Ensures product is placed into accurate location General + Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor + Follows standard operating and safety procedures + Keeps area safe, clean, and organized + Performs other related duties as required Qualifications + High School Diploma or equivalent + 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. + Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience. + Good oral and written communications skills. + Good record keeping skills. + Good listening skills. + Accurate measurement capability. + Ability to understand and speak English. + Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner. + Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
