Material Handler - Level 2

As a Material Handler Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our Industrial Automation business.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and work out of our Dayton, OH location. 

\n

In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate movement of materials, ensuring that production lines have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand. You will also be involved in inventory management, cycle counting, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

\n\nSafely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials within the warehouse \n\n\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality \n\n\nPick, pack, and stage materials for production lines, following standard operating procedures \n\n\nPerform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records \n\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies  \n\n

YOU MUST HAVE 

\n\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations \n\n\nAbility to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks \n\n\nBasic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems  \n\n

\n\nHigh school diploma or GED \n\n\nExperience in a manufacturing or distribution environment \n\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy \n\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills \n\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment  \n\n
