Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supplying and returning unused packaging components and ingredients to packaging lines. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Move ingredient materials on the production floor. Must have working knowledge of SAP. Proper labeling and covering of partial materials being returned Must be able to effectively communicate relevant information to fellow employees Correct location pallets according to 5S and SAP inventory Responsible for sending back all materials at the correct measure Maintain the proper level of inventory for Production use Ensure return pallet quantities are correct and the tag count matches the pallet Communicate discrepancies to the Inventory Analyst for any material not able to return to the whse Relieve Palletizer for breaks Remove all waste bins from production floor General cleaning of equipment and maintaining good housekeeping throughout the department per the TRM Standard Work form Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: In order to promote a manufacturing environment that is safe and efficient for both personnel and food, the ability to effectively communicate in basic English (both verbal and written) is required. This includes the ability to speak, read and comprehend safety instructions, rules and warnings for self and others in both normal and emergency situations. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: Examples of licenses, certificates, and registrations required: Certified lift truck driver license preferred OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Specific skills and abilities required that are not included in other sections: Working knowledge of SAP functions preferred Forklift Experience preferred Microsoft Office skills preferred
