Material Handler - Shipping (Warehouse/Manufacturing)
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Complying with all departmental proceduresVerification and processing (data entry) for all deliveries according to cGMP and any/all departmental proceduresReceiving, handling, storing, rotating and delivering all raw material, components, finished goods according to FIFO, cGMP, and any/all departmental proceduresOperating and maintaining department equipmentEnsuring that any inspections required are performed according to regulationsIdentifying and helping troubleshoot incorrect performance of department equipment (where applicable)Actively participating in the training of new employeesWarehouse work (storing/rotating supplies and raw materials/components, re-stacking pallets, and organizing storage areasPerforming cycle counts and/or physical yea-rend inventory (when required) of all supplies, raw material/components, finished goods and/or consumablesPerforming the tasks and functions associated with daily mail duties throughout the Werfen campusPulling/scanning/packing orders according to FIFO, cGMP, and any/all departmental proceduresIdentifying and reporting any/all unsafe equipment and/or working conditionsDiscarding expired product when directedConstantly using hands to grab and reach for products when pulling orders or receiving/stocking material.
International orders can weigh up to approximately 70 pounds per box.
Pushing & pulling serum carts that weigh approximately 800 pounds; these carts need to be maneuvered in and out of the coolers when necessary.
Close and distant vision required for forklift activity.
Depth perception required when placing product on warehouse racking.
QualificationsMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree)Working knowledge of PC and keyboarding skills and knowledge of e-mail and internetTeam player with the ability to interact cooperatively with coworkersAdditional responsibilities include:
