•Supervises material handling supervisors by training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining associates; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring; adhering to policies and procedures.
•Ensures adherence to inbound and outbound window times.
•Responsible for receipt of material through scanning, if applicable, comparing count to bill of lading; Notes receiving discrepancies and supports root cause analysis.
•Coordinates layouts and routes with the industrial engineering department for material movement.
•Supervises the loading/unloading of material.
•Ensure condition and cleanliness of all containers.
•Keeps material handling equipment operating by following operating instructions and established procedures; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
•Maintains safe and secure environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
•Ensures accurate shipment of material through scanning, if applicable.
•Maintain FIFO, cleanliness of equipment, and organization of material on the plant floor.
•All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Industrial Eng. career degree (preferably).
English.
Excel.
IATF Knowledge.
Warehouse management and Inventory management.
Oracle (preferably).
