Record Maintenance: Keep all “SMART” AUTOCALL & CALL records updated consistently. Engineering Change Implementation: Ensure timely and proper implementation of all engineering changes, with ongoing monitoring to verify success. Process Improvement Implementation: Execute all Synchronous Material Flow (SMF) and Material Flow Engineering (MFE) process and material flow improvements, including sequencing, kitting, milkrun, and direct supply methods. Problem Solving: Address continuous supply and flow disruptions/High Hurts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement. Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits on Vehicle Usage Verifications (VUV), AUTOCALL, and LSA to detect illegal part relocations and ensure system accuracy and integrity. Audit kitting areas for market area locations, labelling, and adherence to 5S principles by material handling teams. Process Efficiency and Optimization: Analyse process efficiencies and collaborate with Material Handling (MH) Planners & Operations teams to identify opportunities for headcount reduction and process optimization. Route Calibration and Monitoring: Calibrate routes and oversee the filling of requests on the Material Replenishment Screen (MRT) for CALL supply routes. Digital Work Tablet Calibration: Calibrate Digital Work Tablets (DWT) and monitor the integrity of request requirements. System Synchronization: Ensure weekly synchronization of PFEP-Pro with SMART & CMMS3 regarding Parts of the Future (POF), packaging, and material streams. Compliance with Standards: Ensure all SMF implementations adhere to ISO & FORD Standards and Procedures. Support for New Model Launches: Provide support for new model launches by developing new material flow paths and methods, designing stillages, liaising with dunnage suppliers, and updating PFEP from VBOM. Operational Support During Disruptions: Assist with material handling operation duties during disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances. Innovation and Technology Adoption: Lead initiatives for innovation and the adoption of new technologies to enhance MFE designs and processes. Maintenance: Ensure preventive maintenance standards are defined & adhered to for SMF facilities ranging from lineside racking, supply trolleys & Sequencing/kitting facilities etc.
