This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a Material Handling Supervisor will include:  Compensation (Range): 35-38 / hour Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements •Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts •Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership •Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams

Job Requirements
As a Material Handling Supervisor you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations •Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers •Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset •Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies •Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively •Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others Safety and quality experience •Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified •Knowledge of constraint management principles •Prior experience managing a unionized workforce Education Required: High School
