Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the production line as and when required, avoiding disruption to productionTo carry out the material warehouse organization and manpower planning in coordination with the Planning team, to implement the approved organizational and manpower plansEnsuring the supply, stocking, distribution of all kinds of raw materials, inputs and other consumables and auxiliary materials used in production and keeping the records of these worksCoordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracyMonitor inventory levels against agreed target levelsSupport inventory checks to validate inventory accuracyScheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.Ensure all documentation to be recorded and kept completely tidy and right way in the area of responsibilityDetermine and enable the training necessity for the plant personnel in EHS, quality, lean manufacturing etc.Tracking the legal changes and press in the area of responsibility, inform the management about these changes to take necessary actionsEnsure the team to work in compliance with GE Vernova code of conduct, ethics and working rules, tracking the subjects like work done by the personnel, attitude, wearing, continuity/vacancy/rest/overtime etc., listen to their requests, suggestions, make necessary precautions, give information to the managementMake 1:1 meeting with the personnel, make team meetings and give feedback to the department manager about themAttend projects, loss analysis, saving activities, lean manufacturing, kaizen events etc. and take active responsibility for the related subjectsAttend Daily meetings that is a part of QCDM management system and represent warehouse teamMake Gemba tours in the area of responsibility to catch the abnormalities and take necessary actionsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any engineering branch, preferably mechanical, industrial, electrical, electronic engineeringMin 8-10 years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics processesStrong oral and written communication skills in EnglishHaving used SAP, WMS, etc. systems in warehouse managementGood command of MS Office (especially Excel)Desired Characteristics
