Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a team of Production planner, Material Planner, Warehouse Assistants
Implement standard work for warehouse personals daily management.
Implement strategies for inventory management to achieve inventory target, on-time operation support.
Forecast materials to ensure appropriate re-ordering point.
Lead periodic inventory audits.
Drive continuous improvement on warehousing solution, materials stocking plan.
Create strategy to execute efficient yard storage for incoming and outgoing boxing & packaging to/from shipment.
Connect with logistics center of excellence to ensure outsourced service outbound/inbound on-time delivery.
Collaborate closely with sourcing team to assure supplier quality and on-time delivery
Develop and execute production planning strategies to meet customer demand while optimizing resources.
Collaborate with optimization team, and customer service teams to forecast demand accurately.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and departmental performance.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize sourcing and procurement.
Budget and cost control to ensure production and logistics operations are within budgetary constraints.
Drive initiatives to reduce lead times, minimize production waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or suitable practical experience
Strong leadership and team management skills.
A proven track record in a similar planning role, creating and maintaining complex project schedules.
Experience and judgement needed to dynamically strike the optimum balance between detail and practical usefulness of schedules.
Genuine enthusiasm for Scheduling and an engaging ability to promote planning.
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and resolve conflicting demands and priorities.
Experience of SAP (desirable)
Understanding of basic contractual terms and conditions (desirable)
Desired Characteristics
Ability to communicate/read/write in English (TOEIC 700pts or above).
A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in EHS execution at factory.
Previous experience general industry environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
Working knowledge in regulatory compliance, as well as all Japanese(local)agencies and Authorities requirements
