**Hiring General Laborers in** **Virginia Beach, VA** **Job Duties** + **We are looking for dedicated Material Movers and Assemblers to prepare the launch of a brand new distribution center.** + **This role involves moving materials within the distribution center, requiring a significant amount of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day. This is a 6 month contract.** **Material Movers** + **Move materials within the distribution center using pallet jacks.** + **Hand off pods to the Loading/Unloading team.** + **Load and unload trucks of materials and supplies.** + **Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with inventory management.** + **Remain on feet 100% of the day, with no time to sit.** **Assemblers** + **Assemble inventory bins/shelves** + **Utilize hand and power tools.** + **Lift and move objects regularly, up to 40 lbs.** + **Assist with inventory management and documentation of any errors.** + **Remain on feet 100% of the day, with no time to sit.** **Requirements** + **Experience with warehouse/construction environment** + **Ability to move materials through a distribution center.** + **General labor experience, including lifting and inventory management.** + **Steel or composite toe boots required** **$20hr 7am - 4pm (M-F)** **If interested, apply to this posting with your up-to-date resume.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
