**Job Title: Material Mover (Feed Line)**
**Job Description**
We are looking for dedicated Material Movers to assist in building 'PODS' or inventory bins at Amazon sites. This role involves moving materials within the distribution center, requiring a significant amount of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day.
**Responsibilities**
+ Move materials within the distribution center using pallet jacks.
+ Hand off pods to the Loading/Unloading team.
+ Load and unload trucks of materials and supplies.
+ Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with inventory management.
+ Document errors and communicate effectively.
+ Remain on feet 100% of the day, with no time to sit.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with picking and pallet jacks.
+ Ability to move materials through a distribution center.
+ General labor experience, including lifting and inventory management.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Strong communication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to document errors accurately.

**Work Environment**
This position is based at Amazon ORF4, 1795 Dam Neck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA. The work environment is currently under construction and is non-climate controlled. Facilities include port-a-potties, and the environment is typical of a construction site.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
