**Job Description:** Safe operation of a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product. The operator may also be required to perform order filler and checker duties as assigned. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Unload and verify shipments and move product to storage locations + Efficiently and safely stack and store material in proper locations + Assist with stocking operating assembly cells with materials needed to operate + Assist in returning excess parts if any to warehouse + Oversee and record inventory controls for department + Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped + Safely and efficiently move product out of and into trailers + Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control + Process packages + Maintain daily driver log, perform forklift inspections daily, and operate forklift in a safe manner while maintaining production requirements + Perform daily housekeeping duties. + All other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** REQUIRED: + High School Diploma or GED + Forklift certification (TTI will train) PREFERRED: + Previous experience as forklift operator and material handler in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment + Previous experience using Oracle **Working conditions:** Position is located at our Cookeville, TN manufacturing facility. This facility is heated and cooled. Employee will be working with and near moving mechanical parts. **Physical requirements:** Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly. A drug screen is required prior to employment.
