The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Material Planner to join our dynamic, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team in Melbourne, FL. In this role you will play a key part in supporting production and supply chain operations by planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials throughout the program lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to effectively time phase material to service cash flow objectives and program production schedules.
Develop strategies, implement plans, and track progress for cost savings initiatives.
Support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) activities and reporting for customer contracts
Plan, schedule, and monitor the efficient movement of material from identification of the requirement to delivery to the end user.
Processing and executing material transfers and issuing Manufacturing Orders to support Production needs
Define raw material scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.
Monitor and reconcile Supply Chain disruptions that develop throughout the program lifecycle.
Creating Purchase Requisitions for requested materials.
Coordinate key cross-functional Supply Chain resources to ensure scalable internal capacity.
Estimate and Manage labor budget for program Supply Chain resources.
Coordinate material distribution with purchasing, warehouse, and end user.
Establish, track, and report EVMS performance for large budget programs.
Plan and schedule materials, equipment, and commodity products of high complexity for government and commercial programs.
Participates and/or lead projects/teams as assigned.
Identify process improvements and facilitate implementation.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Desired:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Costpoint MRP soft ware and advanced concepts
Understanding of FAR, MMAS, SOX, and CAS requirements
APICS and/or ISM certification
Thorough knowledge of supply chain processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint

The proposed salary range for this position is:
