Overview
The Material planner is responsible\nof Supply Chain Planning process to\nserve Asia market even worldwide demand. She/or\nhe needs to closely co-work with sales, finance, procurement, customer service,\ntolling suppliers, and logistics\nto drive\nprocesses and systems to satisfy internal\n& external customers, optimize supply\n& delivery plans and\nreduce Supply\nChain operation costs.
The Material planner reports\nto sit GBE Supply Chain Leaders of Asia Pacific. The planner is focused on one\nor more plants/tolling suppliers and is responsible of planning, directing, and\ncoordinating with tolling suppliers on production schedules, and planning,\npurchasing, warehousing and control of packaging, spare parts and materials to\noptimize supply and demand. The planner is also responsible for inventory\nplanning and forecasting and maintenance of optimal inventory levels, delivery\nSupply Chain KPIs in Asia Pacific level.
Responsibilities:
Support planning of Safety Stock, Replenishment Lead Time, Lot Size, Stocking Location with guidance from Global Supply Leaders
Optimize Distribution Requirement Plan to ensure the material inventory at healthy levels in multiple warehouses to satisfy customer demand.
Balance supply with demand at the SKU level while adhering to established both packaging, spare parts and material purchase plan, policies, resource constraints and requirements need date.
Makes sure that all Material Requirements Planning elements in material master, BOM, Zrules & Recipe are correctly setup in accordance with tolling requirement.
Convert purchase requisitions to PO/STO’s; Reviews APO-SNP demand & supply daily and takes action as required; Executes schedule changes in accordance to time fence policies.
Responsible for Stock Transfer Order maintenance for Material/Title transfer at Toller – components - or 3rd Party Supplier.
Accountable for key metrics: OTTR, SOTTR (Supplier On Time Delivery), DOS (days of supply), RTDE (Real Time Data Entry) & IRA (Inventory Record Accuracy), ETECT (End to end cycle time) saving.
Familiar with SIOP process, engage site SIOP execute in AP monthly supply plans for the products sold via the Distribution Center. Drive root cause, corrective actions for areas not achieving SIOP metrics targets

Required Qualifications
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) at Japanese and English.
Good skill in Excel operation especially for data analysis.
Minimum 3 years experience in planning, production scheduling or related field, Chemical working experience is preferable.
Proven ability to build consensus within a cross functional team and external suppliers.
Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and opportunities and to implement effective improvements and control plans
Good SAP knowledge of Supply chain planning & logistics function,
Capable to work under pressure.
