Material planning function:

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for productionTake follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production planCoordinating with other departments regarding production goals and timelinesEnsure purchase requisition release per LTReview material readiness and provide commit thru Clear-To-BuildUtilize any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as requiredMonitor inventory levels against agreed target levelsOther assignment given by supervisor.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a related position.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail skillsKnowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and material management systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Assertive, optimistic, resilient and welcomes changeSelf-motivated and able to work under pressureProactively contributes to the teamFamiliar with Oracle is a plus
