Inviting applications for the role of Material Planning Manager – Manager– French – Hybrid Katowice

Your Role
The Material Planning Manager is responsible for providing deep subject matter expertise as the leader of a Raws Packs category within the supply chain. Partnering with functional leadership they will drive the organization, reinforce and refine standard work, staff the organization drive the governance process to ensure optimal results.

Responsibilities
• Strategic Material Planning: Define strategic material needs to ensure timely availability in the right quantity and quality. Conduct financial valuations of supply planning decisions
• Replenishment Strategy: Develop and manage replenishment strategies and parameters to optimize material availability
• VMI Standardization: Promote and support standardized Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) coverage across supply points
• Procurement Collaboration: Make sure material forecasts are shared with Procurement and suppliers for synchronized material supply
• MRP Planning: Make sure MRP plans are updated for efficient inventory and capacity balance.
• Supplier Performance: Review and improve supplier performance in collaboration with Procurement team
• Phase-In/Out: Develop innovative phase-in/out strategies for materials in different projects
• Material Management: Manage material and BOM transitions efficiently
• Master Data Excellence: Ensure master data integrity by flagging exceptions for correction
• Strategic Materials Vision: Develop a vision for strategic materials and align with stakeholders
• Collaborative Planning: Make sure an efficient collaboration process with the call-off planner is set up for timely purchase order placement
• Management: Lead, manage and supervise team. Define team scopes and substitutions. Facilitate discussions between Material Planners and other stakeholders. Act as tiebreaker for allocation decisions between individual planners with focus on service and costs

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree
• Strong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality.
• Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in materials or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment
• An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn
