The Material Processor Lead is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production quotas and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.
What will be my duties and responsibilities for this position?
Working knowledge of shop floor systems (Oracle)
Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisors
Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings
Work with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goals
Work with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achieved.
Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues
Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues.
Identify process improvement opportunities and provide effective / implemented solutions
Ability to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibility.
Participate with team on monthly audits.
Work with supervisors to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor.
Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for all customers and programs.
Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and escalate any issues/concerns to supervisors when needed.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
Compile and analyze data.
Complete daily reports and production scheduling.
Train and coach associates as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of production experience.
Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations.
Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to learn and follow work instructions
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
Problem solving skills and the ability to analyze complex problems and formulate solutions
Excellent attention to details
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Database software- data entry software in existing programs
Spreadsheet software- Microsoft Excel- intermediate understanding and data entry into spreadsheets
Word processing- Microsoft Word- basic documents and reports
Previous leadership experience
Pay Range
$43,100.00 - $71,300.00
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
