JOB OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for transport and inventory of all material goods throughout the plant. This role will support various department and specific departmental functions may change based on the department the person support. This role also supports the inventory control process through SAP transactions ensuring proper inventory accounting as a primary function.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Movement and transport of material goods throughout the plantPerform inventory management functions, including SAP transactions in an accurate mannerMaintain arraignment of departmental queue for FIFO inventory controlMaintain supplies utilized within the departmentMaintain proper material weighments and loading proceduresEnsure consistent throughput based on product typeEnsure quality checks are done during manufacturing processesEnsure proper SAP transactions are completed accurately and in a timely fashionWorks towards improvements for process efficienciesWork in a safe manner following all PPE and standardized processesPerform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Must be able to read, write and understand EnglishClerical abilitiesBasic computer skillsSAP knowledge at a proficient levelEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust be a licensed fork truck operator or able to qualify for a fork truck licensePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)
