Position Overview:
As a Materials Analyst Supervisor, you will lead a team of Materials Analysts, ensuring supply chain risks are proactively identified and addressed. Your role will be instrumental in managing supplier data, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, and optimizing processes to improve supplier performance. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to drive efficiency in key supply chain metrics such as Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN), Purchase Order Acknowledgment (PO Ack.), and Supplier Capacity constraints. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of (4) Materials Analysts, ensuring alignment with business goals and supply chain best practices.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sourcing, Engineering, Production, Vendors, and Supply Chain Execution teams to drive efficiency and resolve challenges.Monitor and improve operational metrics related to ASN, PO Ack., and Supplier Capacities to enhance production and vendor performance.Develop, refine, and implement planning tools and standard operating procedures that promote execution excellence.Maintain and enhance materials execution best practices, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement.Work closely with Sourcing teams on onboarding new suppliers and establishing performance metrics.Build and maintain strong relationships with Sourcing teams and key stakeholders to align supply chain strategies.Proactively highlight supply chain risks and present findings in leadership meetings to drive strategic decision-making.Manage supplier performance-related charges related to ASN and PO Ack. to ensure accountability and process adherence.Desired Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field2+ years of experience in SIOP, sourcing, planning, or materials managementProficiency in MRP/ERP systems, working with a Bill of Materials (BOM)Proficiency using the MS Office suiteProficiency with Alteryx and Snowflake preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsNegotiation and conflict management skills to address supplier performance challengesQuick and effective decision-making skills in a dynamic environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced settingAbility to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data for actionable insightsAPICS CPIM Certification preferredThe pay range for Minnesota is $70,000 to $92,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
