We are searching for the best talent for Materials Clerk - Temporal 6 meses (2do turno) to be in Ciudad Juarez, plant Independencia
Purpose:
+ Responsible to prepare production kits based on the production plan provided by the Production planning and scheduling team.
+ Accountable to maintain the inventory locations as per the plan and to perform cycle count on a
regular basis.
You will be responsible for:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
+ Prepares kits for issue to the floor following production planning prioritization.
+ Manages inventory storage and placement (vault attendant)
+ Notifies Production Planner of material shortages
+ Release batches to manufacturing through MRP System.
+ Cycle count when needed
+ Follow current compliance regulations and standards
+ Perform other jobs as required
+ Ensure compliance to the quality policy in all activities
+ Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objectives of the plant
+ Support continuous improvement programs such Lean Manufacturing, kaizens, 6S, etc.
+ Maintain accurate WIP reports vs. Prod uction plan.
**Qualifications**
Qualifications:
+ A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
+ From 0-2 years of experience in related fields
+ Strong computer skills
+ Good communication skills, to interface with manufacturing, engineering, materials management, quality control, purchasing, customs and all other departments as needed.
+ Working knowledge of PC applications and software (MS Windows, Excel, etc.)
+ Good basic math skills
+ Knowledge of ERP Systems concept ( MRP)
+ Previous clerical experience desired
+ Previous manufacturing experience desired
+ Basic English writing and reading skills preferred.
