We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator II to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a full-time contract position with the opportunity for growth and development within our global organization.

Role Overview

Analyze and forecast materials and equipment needs for efficient supply chain management Collaborate with internal teams and international partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials Identify areas for cost reduction and implement process improvements Manage inventory accuracy and develop programs to eliminate root causes of inventory issues Assist in developing supplier evaluation procedures and manage distribution capabilities Implement quality processes and corrective action procedures Develop reporting and tracking systems for monthly consolidations of materials returned and credits issued Stay current on industry best practices and benchmark top companies for continuous improvement

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in equipment and materials delivery, material processing equipment, and materials planning Strong understanding of supply chain management principles Optional: Experience in forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and requisition coordination Proficient in inventory management and process improvement techniques Ability to analyze root causes of inventory issues and develop effective solutions Familiarity with quality processes and corrective action procedures Experience in distribution management and reporting/tracking systems Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Education & Experience

4-7 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company Experience with international shipping and dealing with international requirements for invoices
