Materials Coordinator III-Expeditor (20100)
Overview JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring on time delivery of materials in accordance with contract terms and conditions LOCATION: Anchorage, Alaska SCHEDULE: 9/80 CONTRACT: 12 Months + This is a Contingent Workforce Program position Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide updates for material status and open purchase orders, including expediting, tracking and returns Coordinates scheduling for orders based in material lead times and arrival dates Provides status updates and follow-up to internal client groups Works closely with supply chain Buyers & operations personnel to prepare, execute and follow material orders and deliveries Compliance with ConocoPhillips policy and industry regulations Utilizing system tools and capabilities to expedite material deliveries Verify invoice accuracy and facilitate timely resolution of discrepancies Effectively communicating with suppliers and client groups Point of contact to the business for “where is my stuff” Coordinate with suppliers and carriers Works with vendors and/or suppliers to expedite orders when required Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure deliveries are on schedule Provide visibility for the cost to expedite orders Resolve issues with shipping delays Report to Business Unit on status of key deliveries Notify Business Unit when deliveries will not meet expected delivery date GR/IR reconciliation Coordinate with buyers to progress inventory RFQs to POs Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 5-7 years of experience in a Coordinator role Experience working with transportation carriers Working knowledge of North Slope operations, materials, and logistics Working knowledge of SAP/S4 HANA and Fiori interface a plus PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with vendor websites Strong communication skills Vendor relations Technical/Functional Skills REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION: It is Fairweather's business philosophy and practice to provide reasonable accommodations, according to applicable state and federal laws, to all qualified individuals with physical or mental disabilities.
